Quantum Dots : Semiconductor nanocrystal quantum dots : synthesis, assembly, spectroscopy and applications / edited by Andrey Rogach.
Quantum Optics : Directions in quantum optics [electronic resource] : a collection of papers dedicated to the memory of Dan Walls, including papers presented at the TAMU-ONR workshop held at Jackson, Wyoming, USA, 26-30 July 1999 / H.J. Carmichael, R.J. Glauber, M.O. Scully (eds.).

Questionnaires -- See Surveys and Questionnaires Collections of data obtained from voluntary subjects. The information usually takes the form of answers to questions, or suggestions.
Quetelet Index -- See Body Mass Index An indicator of body density as determined by the relationship of BODY WEIGHT to BODY HEIGHT. BMI=weight (kg)/height squared (m2). BMI correlates with body fat (ADIPOSE TISSUE). Their relationship varies with age and gender. For adults, BMI falls into these categories: below 18.5 (underweight); 18.5-24.9 (normal); 25.0-29.9 (overweight); 30.0 and above (obese). Rachischisis -- See Spinal Dysraphism Congenital defects of closure of one or more vertebral arches, which may be associated with malformations of the spinal cord, nerve roots, congenital fibrous bands, lipomas, and congenital cysts. These malformations range from mild (e.g., SPINA BIFIDA OCCULTA) to severe, including rachischisis where there is complete failure of neural tube and spinal cord fusion, resulting in exposure of the spinal cord at the surface. Spinal dysraphism includes all forms of spina bifida. The open form is called SPINA BIFIDA CYSTICA and the closed form is SPINA BIFIDA OCCULTA. (From Joynt, Clinical Neurology, 1992, Ch55, p34)
Radiation Accidents -- See Radioactive Hazard Release Uncontrolled release of radioactive material from its containment. This either threatens to, or does, cause exposure to a radioactive hazard. Such an incident may occur accidentally or deliberately.
Radiation Dose Response Relationship -- See Dose-Response Relationship, Radiation The relationship between the dose of administered radiation and the response of the organism or tissue to the radiation.
Radiation Dose Response Relationships -- See Dose-Response Relationship, Radiation The relationship between the dose of administered radiation and the response of the organism or tissue to the radiation.

Radiation Effects Plants : Environmental UV radiation [electronic resource] : impact on ecosystems and human health and predictive models / edited by Francesco Ghetti, Giovanni Checcucci, and Janet F. Bornman.
