Is it a dream that a child is recounting or is it rather a fantasy to be regarded as equivalent to a dream? Children's play, too, presents important material that allows us to draw inferences about the subconscious. Indeed dreams, daydreams, fantasies and play were originally treated as of equal importance in child analysis. How do child analysts work with dreams at the practical and theoretical levels? In the practice of child analysis today do we find analysis of dreams and the classic differentiations between manifest and latent content? Is attention accorded to the mechanisms of condensation, displacement etc. described by Freud? The current discussion on working with children's dreams and their equivalents in today's practice of child psychoanalysis forms the central focus of the contributions collected in this book. 588 0 Print version record. 650 0 Child psychotherapy.|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85023385 650 0 Child analysis.|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/ sh85023353 650 0 Dreams.|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85039483 650 0 Fantasy|xTherapeutic use.|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/ subjects/sh85047160 650 2 Psychotherapy.|0https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D011613 650 2 Psychoanalysis.|0https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D011572 650 2 Dreams|xpsychology.|0https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/ D004325Q000523 650 2 Fantasy.|0https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D005201 650 2 Child.|0https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D002648 655 4 Electronic books. 700 1 Teicher, Samy,|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ n94082051|eeditor. 700 1 Günter, Michael,|0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/ nr91041064|eeditor. 776 08 |iPrint version:|z1780491913|z9781780491912 |w(OCoLC)846786739 956 40 |uhttp://proxy.opal-libraries.org/login?url=http:// search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site& db=nlebk&AN=1055583|zView online 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2018-03-09|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete - Removed from collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5MTU 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2018-03-09|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete - Removed from collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5MAL 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2018-03-09|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete - Removed from collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5OXB 990 ProQuest ebrary|bebrary Academic Complete|c2017-08-11 |yRemoved from collection ebrary.ebooks|5MTU 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2017-08-11|yCustom text change|5MTU 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2017-07-28|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete - Removed from collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5MAL 990 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America|c2017-04-21|yMaster record variable field(s) change: 100, 245, 505, 650, 700|5OHN 990 ProQuest ebrary|bebrary Academic Complete|c2017-04-20|5MTU 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2017-06-16|5OXB 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2017-07-21|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5MAL 990 ProQuest Ebook Central|bEbook Central Academic Complete |c2017-08-05|yAdded to collection pqebk.acadcomplete|5MTU 990 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America|c2017-02-17|yMaster record variable field(s) change: 505|5OHN 990 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America|c2016-12-09|yMaster record variable field(s) change: 245 990 eBooks on EBSCOhost|bEBSCO eBook Subscription Academic Collection - North America|c2016-04-08|yMaster record variable field(s) change: 650
