Texas Ophthalmology : People of vision : the unique history of ophthalmology in South Texas / by Diana Kleiner, W.A.J. van Heuven.
Textbooks : Bayesian population analysis using WinBUGS : a hierarchical perspective / Marc Kery and Michael Schaub ; foreword by Steven R. Beissinger.
Textbooks As Topic -- See Also Reference Books Books designed by the arrangement and treatment of their subject matter to be consulted for definite terms of information rather than to be read consecutively. Reference books include DICTIONARIES; ENCYCLOPEDIAS; ATLASES; etc. (From the ALA Glossary of Library and Information Science, 1983)
Textbooks Pharmacology Clinical : Drug benefits and risks : international textbook of clinical pharmacology / [edited by] Chris J. van Boxtel, Budiono Santoso, I. Ralph Edwards.
Textbooks Programmed -- See Programmed Instructions as Topic Works about instruction in which learners progress at their own rate using workbooks, textbooks, or electromechanical devices that provide information in discrete steps, test learning at each step, and provide immediate feedback about achievement. (ERIC, Thesaurus of ERIC Descriptors, 1996).
Tgf Beta -- See Transforming Growth Factor beta A factor synthesized in a wide variety of tissues. It acts synergistically with TGF-alpha in inducing phenotypic transformation and can also act as a negative autocrine growth factor. TGF-beta has a potential role in embryonal development, cellular differentiation, hormone secretion, and immune function. TGF-beta is found mostly as homodimer forms of separate gene products TGF-beta1, TGF-beta2 or TGF-beta3. Heterodimers composed of TGF-beta1 and 2 (TGF-beta1.2) or of TGF-beta2 and 3 (TGF-beta2.3) have been isolated. The TGF-beta proteins are synthesized as precursor proteins.
Tgf Beta Receptors -- See Receptors, Transforming Growth Factor beta Cell-surface proteins that bind transforming growth factor beta and trigger changes influencing the behavior of cells. Two types of transforming growth factor receptors have been recognized. They differ in affinity for different members of the transforming growth factor beta family and in cellular mechanisms of action.
Th2 Cells Immunology : The Th2 type immune response in health and disease : from host defense and allergy to metabolic homeostasis and beyond / William C. Gause, David Artis, Editors.
Th3 Cells -- See T-Lymphocytes, Regulatory CD4-positive T cells that inhibit immunopathology or autoimmune disease in vivo. They inhibit the immune response by influencing the activity of other cell types. Regulatory T-cells include naturally occurring CD4+CD25+ cells, IL-10 secreting Tr1 cells, and Th3 cells.
